Turnkey Interiors was commissioned by G&D to deliver a comprehensive office fit-out, including custom joinery tailored to the client’s brand identity and functional needs. The project aimed to create an elegant, cohesive workspace that balances contemporary design with practical work environment requirements, ultimately fostering a highly productive and welcoming atmosphere. Every element was meticulously planned to reflect the client’s values and enhance the overall employee and visitor experience, showcasing Turnkey Interiors’ expertise in company interior design.


Entrance and Partition
Upon entering, visitors are immediately greeted by a striking contemporary partition that prominently displays the client’s branding in a sophisticated yet understated manner. Crafted in a deep charcoal-black finish, the partition features vertical slats that extend seamlessly from floor to ceiling. The upper section of the partition mirrors its sculptural form, integrating flawlessly with the ceiling above and adding architectural interest that draws the eye upward. At its base, soft, warm lighting gently illuminates the structure, creating an inviting glow that enhances the tactile quality of the materials and defines the entry experience.

The flooring around this area is predominantly composed of durable vinyl, meticulously designed to emulate the natural grains and marbling of wood. This choice combines the visual warmth of timber with the practicality and ease of maintenance required for high-traffic office environments. The walls and ceiling are finished in a calming off-white tone, generating a neutral and serene backdrop. This contrast allows the dark partition and matching black skirtings to stand out prominently, cultivating a refined and balanced ambience that sets the tone for the rest of the office interior, a hallmark of thoughtful company interior design.


Seating Area
Directly opposite the partition, the seating area offers a carefully crafted retreat designed for informal meetings, casual conversations, or moments of relaxation within the office. The floor-to-wall carpet in rich, dark tones fosters a cosy environment underfoot, and its acoustic qualities help to absorb ambient noise, contributing to a sense of privacy. Anchoring this space is a charcoal accent wall that adds depth and sophistication, while adjacent wooden slats introduce warmth and tactile texture, softening the overall feel without compromising the area’s modern architectural essence.

The seating arrangement includes three expertly designed chairs, each featuring plush off-white cushions set upon dark wooden frames and supported by sleek black metal legs. This design juxtaposition between light upholstery and darker structural elements enhances visual interest while ensuring comfortable seating. Centrally placed beneath the seating is a crisp white area rug with a contemporary pattern that visually unifies the space. Resting upon the rug is a black oval coffee table, elegantly detailed with fine white veining reminiscent of marble, which adds a subtle touch of understated luxury. Further softening the environment, a rectangular planter box filled with vibrant dark green plants introduces an organic element that contrasts beautifully with the architectural lines, fostering a calming and natural atmosphere within this social corner.


Display Area
Located just beyond the partition, the display area unfolds into a welcoming space that connects visually and spatially to the broader office environment. This zone is enriched by the presence of warm wooden wall panels that add texture, natural warmth, and an inviting tactile quality. The far wall incorporates the same warm, ambient lighting technique introduced at the partition, reinforcing cohesion between these adjoining areas and enhancing the overall ambience with soft, layered illumination.

This display area also serves as a viewpoint into the boardroom, which is enclosed by floor-to-ceiling glass walls, allowing transparency and openness while maintaining acoustic separation. The boardroom entry is marked by a raw wooden door, whose natural grain and texture inject an element of rustic charm, balancing the sleek, modern glass panels with an organic counterpart. This interplay between materials supports the office’s broader design language, blending industrial edge with natural warmth.

The display furniture consists of a thoughtfully curated mix of modern stands, varying in form and finish. Some units feature clean white surfaces framed by dark supports, providing a fresh, minimalist look, while others replicate the rich wood textures of the surrounding walls, ensuring material and visual continuity. Strategic lighting fixtures are skilfully positioned to accentuate the products and highlight architectural details, creating a dynamic focal experience without overwhelming the space. This layering of light and material elevates the display area as both a functional showcase and a design statement, inviting exploration.


Boardroom
The boardroom stands as a centrepiece of the office, exemplifying a marriage of comfort, professionalism, and elegant design. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer expansive panoramic views of the surrounding cityscape, flooding the room with natural daylight that energises occupants and fosters a stimulating meeting environment. The connection to the outside world adds depth and openness to the interior, making the space feel larger and more connected.

An accent wall to the left pays homage to the marble veining motif seen in the seating area’s coffee table, yet it introduces a more intricate, artistic iteration crafted with precision. This feature wall provides a tactile and visual counterpoint, adding sophistication and reinforcing the client’s refined design narrative.

Around the bespoke conference table, ergonomically designed chairs provide essential comfort and support during long meetings without sacrificing visual appeal. Suspended overhead are two slender pendant lights that cast a gentle, warm glow, enveloping the table in an inviting ambience conducive to thoughtful discussion and collaboration. The ceiling features a carefully designed recessed rectangular panel with gently rounded edges, positioned precisely above the table to draw attention upward. This architectural element creates a subtle interplay of light and shadow, contrasting elegantly with the surrounding flat white ceiling and enhancing the boardroom’s modern aesthetic and sense of refinement, an emblem of distinguished company interior design.
