Financial Services Provider
Financial Services Provider
This head office project was delivered by Turnkey Interiors for Bridge Taxi Finance, a financial services provider requiring a contemporary and functional workplace environment. Our brief was clear: to transform a standard office footprint into a vibrant, high-performing space that supports operational efficiency while fostering an atmosphere of professionalism and care. With our extensive experience in company interior design, we approached this commission with a considered strategy—balancing brand identity, employee wellbeing, and spatial optimisation to craft an environment that reflects the organisation’s vision and values.
Design Intent & Spatial Planning
Our primary design intent was to create a workspace that is both dynamic and disciplined—one that enables collaboration without compromising focus. We implemented a zoning strategy that clearly defines public-facing, semi-private, and private areas while maintaining a sense of flow and transparency across the office. Slim-profile glass partitions were used extensively to promote openness and light penetration, while maintaining necessary acoustic separation between teams and departments.
The reception area was designed as a statement point of arrival, anchoring the front-of-house with a bespoke timber and black powder-coated steel reception desk. Behind it, a feature wall clad in textured laminate with backlit branding makes an immediate impact—serving as both a welcome gesture and a subtle expression of the client’s identity.
Open-plan desking areas were configured to optimise space efficiency without creating overcrowding. Workstations were supported by integrated acoustic panels and soft grey carpet tiles to reduce ambient noise and promote focus. Informal breakout zones and small collaborative booths were carefully interspersed throughout the plan to encourage knowledge-sharing and impromptu discussion.
Materiality & Finishes
Our materials palette was anchored by warm wood finishes, charcoal accents, and clean neutral tones—delivering a contemporary yet grounded atmosphere. Throughout the space, we used high-quality laminate joinery in natural oak tones, contrasted with matte black steel framing to provide both visual structure and durability.
Seating areas featured upholstered benches and chairs in burnt orange and camel-toned leather—materials chosen not only for their tactile richness but also their hard-wearing performance in high-traffic areas. Kitchenettes and break-out spaces were finished with stone-effect countertops, deep blue cabinetry, and contrasting tiled splashbacks for a playful but refined finish.
Lighting was carefully layered to support both function and mood. Suspended linear LED fittings provide clean task lighting across desking areas, while decorative pendant lights introduce warmth and texture in communal zones. We also integrated acoustic ceiling rafts and slatted timber features into larger meeting rooms and open spaces, aiding in sound absorption and adding depth to the ceiling plane.
Bespoke Joinery & Technical Detailing
A standout feature of this company interior design project was the bespoke joinery we developed to support both visual cohesion and practical storage needs. From integrated filing cabinets and concealed storage units to handcrafted meeting tables and upholstered banquette seating, each piece was tailored to suit the spatial constraints and daily operations of the client’s team.
Our team paid particular attention to detailing, with carefully mitred corners, recessed lighting channels, and flush-mounted power integration at all workstations. These small but impactful decisions contribute to a workspace that feels refined and professionally executed, while remaining robust and low-maintenance in the long term.
Brand Alignment & Biophilic Enhancements
Although the client’s brand colours were used sparingly, we ensured that the overall palette and finishes reflected their professional yet personable tone. Dark blues and burnt sienna accents were echoed in wall treatments and upholstery, complemented by timber finishes that soften the space and introduce a sense of natural warmth.
Biophilic elements were incorporated in the form of strategically placed indoor plants, particularly around communal areas and circulation paths. These touches, while subtle, contribute significantly to employee wellbeing, air quality, and overall ambience—an essential consideration in contemporary company interior design.
Functionality & Long-Term Adaptability
One of the client’s key requirements was a layout that would remain functional as the organisation scales. As such, we designed the layout with modularity in mind—using freestanding furniture elements that can be repositioned and expanded without requiring major construction.
We also addressed key workplace demands such as privacy, noise control, and connectivity through integrated tech infrastructure, acoustic zoning, and sufficient cable management solutions. The result is a workplace that is as technically competent as it is visually compelling—one that reflects the evolving demands of modern business environments.
This project represents a thoughtful blend of aesthetic sophistication and operational pragmatism—principles that are fundamental to our approach to company interior design.
Through strategic space planning, refined material selection, and bespoke detailing, we were able to deliver a workplace that not only meets the functional needs of the client but also elevates the experience of those who occupy it. This project exemplifies our commitment to delivering innovative and human-centred company interior design solutions that support long-term business success.
