Company Interior Design – Campus Centre
Turnkey Interiors was entrusted with designing the Campus Centre for Mission Office, creating a workspace that seamlessly blends functionality with modern aesthetics. From the welcoming entrance and reception area to the flexible training rooms, professional boardroom, and inviting canteen, each space reflects a balance of practicality and refined company interior design. This project showcases our commitment to delivering tailored solutions that enhance the way people work and interact.
A Welcoming and Distinctive Entrance
The entrance area of the Campus Centre sets the tone for the space with a balance of warmth and professionalism. The flooring, made of light wooden vinyl, creates a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring durability and ease of maintenance. A royal blue accent wall, featuring the client’s name and welcome sign, serves as a focal point, standing out against the surrounding off-white walls. White skirtings add a crisp finish, enhancing the clean and polished look of the space.
A glass door with white framing separates the entrance from the reception area, maintaining an open feel while providing a clear distinction between spaces. This thoughtful design ensures that visitors are greeted with an inviting yet structured environment from the moment they step inside.
A Calm and Inviting Reception Area
The reception area at the Campus Centre is designed to create a welcoming and professional first impression. Soft pastel blue walls contribute to a tranquil atmosphere, while the continuation of light wooden vinyl flooring ensures visual consistency with the entrance. The reception desk, crafted from light wood, complements the flooring and serves as a focal point with its square window-patterned countertop, adding a touch of detail to the space.
Above the desk, three individually fixed pendant globe lights with golden accents provide a warm, sophisticated glow. This gold detailing is echoed in the small seating area, where two chairs upholstered in a dim, dark yellow sewn material are paired with matching coffee tables. The chairs’ wooden legs further enhance the natural, cohesive aesthetic of the space.
A Relaxed and Social Canteen Area
The canteen area at the Campus Centre is designed to foster relaxation and social interaction, offering a balance between functionality and comfort. The flooring is thoughtfully divided, with warm wooden vinyl extending throughout the space and durable brown tiling defining the kitchen area.
The kitchen features a blend of natural and modern design elements. The bottom cabinets are painted in a muted pastel green, complementing the light green wall of the adjacent lounging area, while the upper cabinets remain unpainted, showcasing the natural wood grain. A glossy white kitchen counter provides a sleek contrast, with small white tiles lining the wall for a clean and contemporary finish.
Seating options cater to various needs, from casual dining to quiet relaxation. Small round tables offer a traditional canteen setup, while a tall bench against the windows, paired with wooden chairs, provides a scenic spot for dining with a view. Soft, square-framed LED lights enhance this area with a warm glow. For those looking to unwind, the lounging area features a large L-shaped couch, creating an inviting space for informal gatherings.
Next to the kitchen area are recreational activities that encourage relaxation and team bonding. Throughout the canteen, biophilic elements are thoughtfully placed, bringing in greenery to enhance the sense of well-being and connection to nature.
A Focused and Professional Boardroom
Designed for productivity and collaboration, the boardroom at the Campus Centre maintains a clean and cohesive aesthetic. The space follows the theme of light, white walls, complemented by a pastel blue accent wall that adds subtle depth. Carpet tiles, similar to those in the training rooms, provide a soft, comfortable flooring solution that enhances acoustics and minimises noise.
Large windows allow for ample natural light while offering views of the surrounding area, creating an open and refreshing environment. Office plants are strategically placed throughout the room, introducing greenery that promotes a sense of well-being. Warm lighting is provided by two individual cone-shaped fixtures, ensuring a comfortable ambiance.
The furniture selection reinforces the boardroom’s refined aesthetic. A wooden-topped table with a white-coated support frame serves as the centrepiece, while the chairs—slim and elegant—mirror the dim yellow hue of those in the reception area. Their legs, however, are coated in a darker colour, adding a subtle contrast that grounds the space.
Flexible and Well-Lit Training Spaces
The training rooms at the Campus Centre are designed to provide a bright, adaptable environment for learning and development. Natural light floods the space through large windows, enhancing the atmosphere and reducing the need for artificial lighting during the day. A combination of carpet tiling and warm overhead lighting creates a comfortable setting, while the false ceiling integrates both HVAC systems and soft illumination for an optimal experience.
Each training room is defined by a clean, modern aesthetic, with a predominantly white wall complemented by a bold yellow accent column. The entrance is framed by a two-part glass door and partition, maintaining openness while providing a sense of separation. To accommodate different training needs, a divider allows the space to be split into two, enabling multiple sessions to run simultaneously. The colour scheme extends to the seating, with white and pastel teal chairs in the first training room and yellow chairs in the second, adding subtle vibrancy to the setting.
