Transaction Junction’s previous office was made up of numerous smaller spaces, which created silos within the company. The commercial interior design brief to the Turnkey Interiors team, was to create one large open workspace, with multiple meeting spaces throughout, both informal and formal, to allow for collaboration and integration of the teams. It was also imperative for them to have a large gathering space for their weekly lunches, for the continually growing team to come together as one.

 

Objectives/Challenges

Our job was to plan and build Transaction Junction, a large office that would meet their expanding staff and operational requirements. It was crucial to maintain consistency in the commercial interior design aesthetics to complement Transaction Junction’s established workplace culture and brand identification. To increase functionality and boost staff well-being, we added new features while incorporating pieces from their prior workplace layout. To promote productivity and teamwork in the workplace, it was also crucial to optimise workspace utilisation and workflow efficiency.

 

Solution

We started the project by working closely with the stakeholders at Transaction Junction to perform a comprehensive needs assessment. Through this process, we were able to learn about their operational workflows, growth estimates, and design preferences. With these insights in hand, we started the design development phase and created a concept that combined upgrades specifically adapted to Transaction Junction’s changing demands with the comfortable atmosphere of their former office. With the help of our experienced team, we were able to find elements from the previous fit out that complemented Transaction Junction’s commercial interior design aesthetic and skillfully added them to the new area.
