Turnkey Interiors always ensures that the documentation is complete so that all parties are protected and understand what is required of them. This is done by way of clear and concise documentation such as a detailed scope of works, a complete bill of quantities, detailed project plans, client agreements, subcontractor agreements, payment schedules and full design specification packs and sample boards.

Over the past ten years local laws pertaining to the building and construction industries have fallen more in line with European standards and as such Turnkey Interiors has spent much time ensuring that ourselves and our subcontractor base are compliant with legislation. We insist that all site personnel are properly trained, outfitted and are medically fit to perform their duties; and that all equipment and tools are well maintained and do not pose a threat. We see to it that all safety briefings, meeting and inductions are correctly carried out and that there is always a responsible person on site who is trained in first aid. In addition we have an independent safety consultant who visits the site on both a regular and unscheduled basis. The consultant writes a periodic report which is filed in the site safety file.

We make certain that all legislated certificates and documentation is collected and collated in the site safety file. Such documentation includes compensation commission good standing letters, labourers’ medicals and training certificates, and identity documents. Upon completion of the project the client will receive the safety file and a building manual containing electrical, plumbing and gas compliance certificates, supplier warranties, engineers and architects’ final drawings, council approvals and any other required documentation.

Turnkey Interiors has a CIDB rating of 6 and is a member of the green building council of South Africa. We work to OHSAS 18001 health and safety standards, and are BBBEEE rated.

Turnkey Interiors (PTY) Ltd are able to offer their client base financial assistance via SASFIN for the funding of a fit-out, in full or part thereof. This can be advantageous sometimes depending on the clients circumstances and the payback period will be set against the duration of the lease period or sooner depending on the client needs.
Turnkey will help facilitate this process speedily in terms of producing a market related costing for the project, set against a project timeline and financial plan. With all the relevant information given a 48-hour turnaround can be achieved allowing the client options in funding their project requirements.
